1. Turn it on: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds. You hear a beep and the LED indicator starts flashing when the unit turns on. The LED display flashes as long as the curling iron heats up. If the display is lit continuously, the preselected temperature has been reached and the unit is ready for operation.
2. The temperature can be set with the temperature selection button. To adjust, press the temperature selection button until the desired degree appears on the display. You have the choice between 140°C, 160°C, 180°C and 200°C. (Attention: The degree depends on the thickness of your hair. If you are unsure, start with the lowest grade ad increase until you have achieved the desired result.)
   
3. With the time selection button you can set the duration of curling. Press the button repeatedly to select between 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 seconds. (Attention: The duration depends on the thickness of the hair. If you are unsure, start with the lowest time and increase until you have achieved the desired result.)
   
4. To adjust the direction of rotation of the curls, slide the direction selector switch to the left or right.
5. Comb you hair to remove possible entanglements.
6. Divide your hair into strands, Make sure that the strands are not wider than 2 cm.
7. Place the hair strand in the front of the curl chamber. Insert the hair strand in the direction of rotation. If the direction selector switch is set to "left", insert the hair strands into the curl chamber via the right side. (Figure 1) If the direction selector switch is set to "right", place your strand of hair over the left side into the curl chamber. (Figure 2).
8. To start the Hair Curler, press and hold the Start button until the hair strands is completely wound up. (Figure 3) During the process, the curler beeps at short intervals.
9. The double beep tone indicates the preset time has elapsed. The strands of hair can now be removed.
10. Turn it off: Press and hold the ON/OFF button again for 2 seconds to turn it off. The device is switched off when the Hair Curler is no longer lit.
